| To start: Print the card and the inside of your choice on cardstock. We used the stacked hearts inside. Do a test print on regular paper to see how to turn your paper for two-sided printing. | |
![]() | Score the card on the fold lines using a ruler and some type of scoring device. You can use a scoring tool or a ballpoint pen that has (completely) run out of ink or anything that has a semi-pointy but not sharp tip. We find it best to do scoring on top of something that has a little bit of "give" to it. like a magazine or a foam mouse pad. The mouse pad will allow the deepest score lines but be careful not to press too hard else you may puncture the paper. We don't recommend that you use newspaper or any other material that may transfer ink onto your card. |
![]() | Cut out and attach foilage from our big leaves and foilage pages with glue or 2 sided tape. |
| Cut out and attach a heart from our dark cutouts page 1. We didn't have the 3D foam dots, so we used some foam we had on hand and 2 sided tape to make the heart and flowers 3D. | |
![]() | Cut some stems out of solid green paper. The nice things about stems is they don't have to be straight and uniform. Tuck the bottom of the stems behind the heart and glue them down. |
![]() | As with the heart, make the flowers 3D using doublestick foam or 2 sided tape and foam. Position your flower over the top ends of your stems. The tallest middle flower was attached last so its petals cover the petals of the other 2 a little bit. |
![]() | That's it, your card is finished! Write a message on the inside or print, cutout and glue in one of ours. |
